  1. "Walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer. Camp out among the grasses and gentians of glacial meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature's darlings. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature's sources never fail." -John Muir

  3. Mountains are not Stadiums where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, they are the cathedrals where I practice my religion.”

The love of what we feel is what drives us to place unknown to most. My only fear is that we will be misunderstood.

  4. I have been chashing Adam for the past seven years. I have chased him on skin tracks. I have chased him on mountain bike rides. I would chase him onto the next adventure or festival of life. Adam had this way of making everyone want to be doing what he was doing. He lived everyday until his last as "this is the best day of my life".
I will remember Adam as amongst many things an amazing skier. He effortlessly layed down ski tracks and not until the bottom did you find out that he was on tele skis. I watched as he began to speed up and shrink a little each turn receiving the most face shots!
Adams impactful lifestyle and contagious excitement for living is already missed. I hope everyone is strong for now we will be able to take Adam with us every day.
    Love the life you live!
